Poland¢¥s Syndrome-Absence of the Pectoralis Major muscle with ipsilateral upper Extrimity Anomalies

Abstract

Five months old first born male baby, who has a ectrosyndactyly of the right hand with ipsilateral absence of pectoralis major and minor muscles was found and hereby present a case with brief summary. The anomalies of the right upper extrmity consist of hypoplasia of the arm and foream,
syndactyly of the digits, agenesis of the distal and middle phalanges of the index and middle fingers. hypoplasia of the proximal phalanx of the middle finger. His mother denies any definite etiologic environmental factors causing these anomalies including drugs, irradiation, and viral infections, during the gestational period.. Also the hereditary transmission is not evident in this case.
